Ok so this Shaman walks up to me and then I explode.

He got 7 lava burst crits on me between 3 ticks of flame shock (which is 6s i think).

Is this normal? Just a couple really lucky chain procs or what?

Looks like he popped a crit trinket/CDs I've been on the other side of this results. Ask Paul I once blew up a warrior in lvl 85 arenas in full PVE gear in just a few globals.

Definitely not normal but wow that's a hell of a chain proc.

Shaman burst is out of control (ele) but then they barely tickle when they don't have cooldowns.

If they cast ascendance it makes it instant

If flame shock proc's it also makes it (lava burst) instant and their mastery apparently also makes it proc another

So it looks like instant casts and chain proc'ing just exploded your shit...

warlocks can get a quest chain to change their fire green. they get it from the rare elites on thunder isle. Apparently a lot still need the drop :P
